Sending by FTP
The parameters for the file transfer from the HomeServer using ftp (file transfer protocol) are managed in this screen.
This help text is for the file transfer of camera pictures and system lists
Designation
Designation of the transfer in the project.
FTP server
The ftp server on which the pictures are to be stored is assigned here.
The ftp servers are created in the menu item
Project/ftp.
Path/File name
The path where the picture is to be stored, as well as the name of the file, are indicated in this box.
This listing may also contain several
variable text elements.
This allows a relative path to be created. The variables can be inserted into the text using the control knob at the right border of the screen.

Example 1: \cam01\Day\pictureHour.jpg
Hereby, day is a variable for the day of the year; this is used in this example as the path.
Hour is inserted into the file name as the file index. This allows you to create one directory per day and to store all pictures in it. The pictures are separated from each other by the index (hour).
Deadtime (in secs)
This time prevents pictures from being transferred at time intervals that are too short.
After a picture has been transferred, the time entered here must first expire before a new picture is accepted for transfer.
Max age (in seconds)
The maximum age of a queued transfer is entered here. If this time is exceeded then the transfer lapses and is not repeated. This time applies when no ftp transfer is possible. This prevents the queue from becoming too large.
