ETS data import

You can import data from your ETS project into your HS Expert project. The imported data is structured in HS Expert according to main/middle/lower group. The folder structure is comprised of the main and middle group. The lower group receives the name of the communication object.

There are two different possibilities for accepting a group address:
Import screen
File name
The path and file name of the import file are entered here.
A file selection screen can be opened using the button next to the entry box.
Project language
The language used in the ETS project is set here
The definition is made in the file "\dat\import.txt".
Among other things, the terms for the main, middle and lower groups are set here.
The folder structure is then automatically generated from these.
Import central address
Yes: Central addresses are imported and created underneath the corresponding communication object.
Import empty groups
Yes: Group addresses that do not have any further connection in the ETS project are imported.
Synchronize data type
Yes: If the ETS project is imported again, then the data types are overwritten in the HomeServer project by the
new data types, when applicable.
The group address is used for synchronizing the new ETS data and the project data.
