Creating the import file; example for ETS 2 Version 1.1 B:
Step 1: In the ETS, open the project whose data you want to export into the HomeServer Expert. From the main menu bar, select "Project/Filter print data".
Step 2: The "print data selection" window opens. Select "Selected" from Type and "Physical address", "Description" and "Object data" from the data boxes.
Confirm your selection with OK.
Step 3: Go to the display of the group address. From the main menu bar, select "Project/Print".
Step 4: The "print" window opens. Activate the "Output to file" control box. Now confirm with OK. A new window opens. Assign a name to the print file here. It should have a ".txt" extension.
Step 5: Switch over to the HomeServer Expert. Create a new project or open an already existing one into which you want to import data from the ETS. Open the "communication object" window. Select the EIB communication object. Press the "import" button. A screen opens. Assign the text file here that you have created in the ETS. Click on "open".
Step 6: Now select the required options.
Step 7: Confirm the import by clicking on the "Ok" button. The print file is imported.
Existing group addresses within a project are not changed.
