General error times
All wait times connected to access to the HomeServer
and to establishing a connection to the HomeServer are set in this screen.
ISDN error (in secs.)
If the HomeServer can not make a connection via ISDN then after the first failed attempt it waits for the time set here until again trying to establish a connection.
Wait time 2 is used after the second failed attempt and wait time 3 thereafter.
NTP error (in secs.)
If the HomeServer can not reach the NTP then after the first failed attempt it waits for the time set here until again trying to establish a connection.
Wait time 2 is used after the second failed attempt and wait time 3 thereafter.
SMTP error (in secs.)
If the HomeServer can not reach the mail server then after the first failed attempt it waits for the time set here until again trying to establish a connection.
Wait time 2 is used after the second failed attempt and wait time 3 thereafter.
FTP 1 error (in secs.)
If the HomeServer can not reach FTP Server 1 then after the first failed attempt it waits for the time set here until again trying to establish a connection.
Wait time 2 is used after the second failed attempt and wait time 3 thereafter.
FTP 2 error (in secs.)
If the HomeServer can not reach FTP Server 2 then after the first failed attempt it waits for the time set here until again trying to establish a connection.
Wait time 2 is used after the second failed attempt and wait time 3 thereafter.
SMS error (in secs.)
If the HomeServer can not reach the SMS gateway of the provider
then after the first failed attempt it waits for the time set here until again trying to establish a connection.
Wait time 2 is used after the second failed attempt and wait time 3 thereafter.
Collected times
Send retention cycles are defined in this section.
The times refer to the sending of E-mail and SMS as well as FTP (also designated as transfer).
During the retention cycle, the send jobs are "collected" and then processed in a block.
The send retention cycle begins after data has been successfully sent.
SMTP collection time (in secs.)
After successfully sending an E-mail, the HomeServer waits for the time set here before initiating the sending of new E-mail.
(for additional information refer to the
above)
FTP -1 collection time (in secs.)
After successful ftp data transfer to FTP Server 1, the HomeServer waits for the time set here before transferring new data. (for additional information on collected times, refer to the above)
FTP -2 collection time (in secs.)
After successful ftp data transfer to FTP Server 2, the HomeServer waits for the time set here before transferring new data. (for additional information on collected times, refer to the above)
SMS collection time (in secs.)
After successfully sending an SMS, the HomeServer waits for the time set here before sending a new SMS. (for additional information on collected times, refer to the above)
ISDN monitoring
The monitoring period (interval in days) in which the
HomeServer is connected to the internet via ISDN, or in which it attempts to go online, is set here.
The total time is monitored for a time period. (e.g. 100 minutes in 30 days or 15 dial-in attempts in 30 days).
After the monitoring time has elapsed, the maximum time or the number of dial attempts is set to zero
and monitoring re-commences.
If the maximum time or the maximum number of dial attempts has been reached and the HomeServer is to once more establish a connection
to ISDN, then this lock can only be cleared by a restart or by reprogramming the HomeServer.

If a maximum is reached then the status object
"ISDN lock" is set to one.
