The paths are determined in connection with the data. Both absolute and relative paths can be set.
The parameters to the ftp are also set in the Expert under Project/Error times.

  • 2 ftp servers can be set in the HomeServer Expert. These can then be used as target servers.

    FTP = File Transfer Protocol
    Use FTP transfer

    Designation of FTP Server 1
    You can describe FTP Server 1 in more detail here.
    Address of FTP Server 1
    The ftp server is reached via this address
    e.g.ftp.microsoft.com or 192.168.0.171
    User name
    The HomeServer logs onto the ftp server using this name.

    Comment: In case of anonymous access, "anonymous" is entered as the user name and any entry can be made for the password.
    This is possible using the HomeServer.
    Anonymous log-ons are often read-only.
    Password
    The HomeServer logs onto the ftp server using this password.
    Passive mode
    Yes: ftp is run in passive mode.
    To use this, please contact your network administrator or ISP.

    If a proxy/firewall is used then the 'passive mode' (also known as PASV) must always be activated for ftp.
    Using this, an ftp connection functions in the same way (technically) as HTTP.
    We recommend you always activate passive mode;
    this allows terminations to connections to be prevented when there is a bad line, or to avoid difficulties with the router.
    Passive mode does not have any negative features, although it can not be forced by the server but rather must be configured by the ftp client.
    Connect to internet
    Yes: The HomeServer connects to the internet, if there is no existing connection to the internet.
    This setting can only be made in connection with ISDN
    (see project network).
