Sending E-mail
All parameters for sending E-mail are set in this bar.

The HomeServer uses the sending of E-mail for the following data: The following authentication protocols are supported by the HomeServer when logging in at the mail server: SMTP = Simple Mail Transfer Protocol
POP = Post Office Protocol
Using E-mail sending
Yes: The screen for sending E-mail is displayed.
If using E-mail functions, a message is displayed if this is disabled here!
User name
The HomeServer logs onto the E-mail server using this name.
Password
The HomeServer logs onto the E-mail server using this password.
E-mail address
A valid address of the sender of the E-mail is entered here .
e.g. hotline@gira.de
SMTP server
The E-mail is sent from this address.
e.g. mail.gmx.net
POP3 server
Address of the server for fetching the E-mail: this address is only required when using the
POP before SMTP protocol.
If you are unsure what to enter, please contact the network administrator or the E-mail provider.
This field only needs to be filled when using this protocol.

ATTENTION: The HomeServer does not receive E-mail and/or does not fetch any E-mail!!

POP3 = Post Office Protocol - Version 3
Connect to the internet
Yes: The HomeServer connects to the internet,
if there is no existing connection to the internet when the E-mail is sent.
This setting can only be made in connection with ISDN
(see project network).
