In this screen you set where and when the HomeServer is synchronized, and which
time standard is to be used.
Furthermore, the HomeServer can send the date and time to the EIB.
If there is a connection to the internet then the timers can be synchronized daily with a time constant (similar to DCF-77).
The date and time are thereby set.
We recommend when using this option that you use an internet provider that invoices in one-second pulse rate.
The HomeServer automatically adjusts for summer and winter time.
A connection to an NTP server is not required!
Automatic adjustment to winter time is only made when the HomeServer is switched on on the last Sunday in October continuously
from 01:59 to 03:01!
Central European Summer Time begins on the last Sunday in March at 2 o'clock in the morning CET.
When summer time begins, the clock is moved forward from 2 o'clock to 3 o'clock.
Central European Summer Time ends on the last Sunday in October at 3 o'clock in the morning CET.
When summer time ends, the clock is moved back from 3 o'clock to 2 o'clock.
The time between 2 o'clock and 3 o'clock is therefore shown twice.
Automatic adjustment to winter time is only made when the HomeServer is switched on on the last Sunday in October continuously
from 01:59 to 03:01!
If the following options for time synchronization are not available,
then there is a screen for setting the
Date and time of the HomeServer.
This can be created in the HomeServer menu and can be changed by the user.
