Presence simulation
Using this function, the HomeServer records EIB telegrams with a value over a period of time
After the set time has elapsed, the telegrams are sent to the EIB.

Only telegrams from the defined EIB devices are recorded.
The respective value of the telegram is thereby also recorded. In addition to the time period, the number of EIB telegrams to be recorded can also be limited.

ATTENTION: When changing the date of the HomeServer, the content of the presence simulation may also be deleted!

The presence simulation has 2 states:

  • record or
  • playback and simultaneous recording.

  • Recording runs continuously when the HomeServer is switched on and connected to the EIB.

The presence simulation records all changes to the assigned group addresses.
Group addresses with central objects are also recorded accordingly when changes are made to the central object.
We advise against entering the central addresses into the presence simulation.

    Example
Recording period 1 week (MON to SUN), 5 group addresses.

The HomeServer must first record one week; the presence simulation can then be run thereafter.
If the presence simulation is now started (played back) after nine days (TUE) at 15:00,
then the HomeServer sends the telegrams from 7 days ago (TUE) at 15:00 to the EIB

    Max. actions
This number indicates the maximum amount of EIB telegrams that can be stored.
    The data are stored
    retentive (permanently).
The memory is designed as a ring memory; if more telegrams are received in the time set
then the oldest telegrams are automatically deleted.
    Time period
Here you set the time period in which the telegrams are to be recorded.
The data are overwritten after this time elapses.
    Control system
A communication object is assigned here.
This communication object controls the behavior of the presence simulation.

If this communication object has the value zero, then the data for the presence simulation are recorded.

If this communication object has the value one, then the presence simulation is run, i.e. the stored telegrams are sent to the EIB.
Simultaneously, however, data are recorded for the presence simulation.
    Stored procedures
A communication object is assigned here.
The EIB telegrams currently stored in the presence simulation can be requested here via this communication object.

The number of procedures should be monitored at the beginning
to allow an adjustment to be made to the "time period" or to the "Max. actions"" if required.
    Communication objects
The communication objects that are stored and can be requested
in the presence simulation are shown in this list.

editing the list are to the right, next to the list.
