Universal timers
The universal timers are managed in this screen.

ATTENTION: Please refer to the additional documentation on the application (use) of the timers!

To start commands or command sequences at certain times, or to once more stop
them after a certain time, you can use universal timers within the HomeServer.
Up to 100 functions can be assigned to a timer.
Several commands can be assigned to each function.
The user then assigns the functions to their times of execution within the running HomeServer.
This constitutes an action comprised of the function and the execution time.

Additionally, the clock in the HomeServer can be synchronized over the internet to a time standard,
the "Time Server" or via the EIB.
The settings are made under Project/Time synchronization.

Point the mouse in the directory tree to "Universal timers".
Press the right mouse button.
A pulldown menu opens.
Select "Create timer".
The timer is added to your directory tree.
The timer can only be set in the currently running HomeServer menu. The timers are stored retentive in the HomeServer.
Designation
The timer is kept under this name in the HomeServer Expert.
Control system: Yes,use a communication object for control.
The timer can be activated or deactivated via the following communication object.
Simultaneously, this status is displayed to the user in the user interface.
The user can switch between states here. Switching within the user interface also changes the value of the communication object.
If the value of the communication object is one then the timer is activated. If the value of the communication object is zero then the timer is deactivated.
The communication object is not absolutely necessary for operation of the timer. If no communication object is assigned then the timer can only be activated/deactivated via the user interface.
